A random draw will decide initial pairings and any "byes" that are necessary. The draw will be published on Intelligent Golf. The competition will consist of a number of knockout rounds each with an allocated completion date. The matches in each round must be completed by the due date. Responsibility for arranging and playing each match by the due date rests with the participants. The first named in each match shall suggest a minimum of 3 dates on which the match can be played. If the other contestant is unable or unwilling to play the match on any of the suggested dates then the match shall be deemed forfeited in favour of the first named. Failure of the first named to suggest a minimum of 3 possible dates before the due date will result in the match being awarded to the other player. Extensions applied for prior to the due date may be granted by the Seniors Captain but only in extenuating circumstances. Extensions will not be granted for reason of trolley or buggy bans. Failure of both players to complete a match by the due date will lead to the result being decided by the toss of a coin by the Seniors Captain witnessed by the Seniors Secretary. If the failure to complete the match by the due date is solely due to the non-availability, or fault, of one player the Senior Captain and Senior Secretary will award the match to the other. The Winner of each match is responsible for entering the match result on Intelligent Golf.
